  • Joff Manning - Director

    Joff holds an honours degree in Drama from Royal Holloway, University of London, where he studied Theatre in Education. He has previously taught Drama and directed shows for Belfast School of Performing Arts.

    His Musical Theatre directing experience includes Legally Blonde, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Aladdin Jr, and Fame Jr. He has also directed Shakespearean and Greek productions including Oedipus Rex, Jean Anouilh’s Antigone, and Love’s Labours Lost.

    Joff is a professional voice actor and audiobook narrator, and has acted in a number of TV productions including HBO’s Game of Thrones and CBBC’s Joe All Alone.

    He has performed lead roles with Richmond Shakespeare Society, Belfast Operatic Company, JHProductions, Claremorris Musical Society and Ballinrobe Musical Society.

    Joff is proud to be a member of Equity - The Actor’s Union.

  • Karen Morley - Musical Director

    A singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher, Karen takes great pleasure in giving young people the opportunity to shine through music. She is accustomed to working with children of all experience levels and to recognising every student’s potential.

    Karen is Deputy Principal and member of the Special Education team at Ballyvary National and has directed and encouraged countless young people through performances at choral festivals, Scór na nÓg; and a wide range of other competitions.

    She writes and performs her own songs, appearing in venues throughout Connacht; at showcases and gigs such as West Awake and Bridge of Song; and on social media. She is also a soloist with Chapel Street Gospel Choir; a founding member of folk and acoustic pop band Freudian Slips; and a highly sought after wedding and special occasion singer.

    A native of Balla, Karen is a long-time member of Balla and Belcarra Parish folk group and is a Balla Foróige Club leader.

  • Nicole Scott - Choreographer

    Nicole has been teaching dance and choreographing shows for the past 10 years. She is a classically trained ballet dancer and strongly believes in teaching students the importance of dance technique as well as the fun and expressive aspects of dance. She has been the resident dance teacher at Stageschool Ireland in Westport since 2014 and the choreographer for Teenage Stage International Summer School since 2017. She has choreographed many musicals for children, teenagers and adults, including 'Fame', 'Sweeney Todd', 'Legally Blonde', 'We Will Rock You', 'Singin' in the rain', 'Grease' and more.

    Nicole is a local primary school teacher. In her spare time she likes to take to the stage as a member of both Castlebar Musical Society and Claremorris Musical Society, playing a variety of roles in popular shows including Sister Act, 9 to 5, All Shook up, Young Frankenstein and most recently Legally Blonde.

  • Eibhlín Morley - Producer

    Eibhlín is a former Board Chair of Bruiser Theatre in Belfast, during which time she organised their national tour of The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged).

    She has walked the boards in chorus roles at Richmond Shakespeare Society, London and Claremorris Musical Society.

    As a business consultant, Eibhlín has worked with a range of arts organisations including the National Centre for Early Music (York), Hall for Cornwall, The Ulster Orchestra, and the Almeida Theatre, London.

    She has an MA in Creative Writing from Queens University Belfast’s Seamus Heaney Centre; a joint honours degree in English Literature and History from Trinity College Dublin; and a HDES from Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, UCD.
